The grudge race element allows participants to choose their competition instead of participating in an organized eliminator. Whether winning or losing, a grudge race participant can return to the stage lanes for more time trials or more grudge races. Losing a run at a Street Legal event usually doesn`t mean it`s time to go home. Street Legal events provide a legal and controlled environment where runners of all levels enjoy the sport of NHRA drag racing. GASOLINE: MAN CUP & NHDRO defines gasoline as a complex mixture of hydrocarbons with a maximum of 25% oxygenates and a maximum of 1% of non-detonating additives and/or non-energy lubricants. Methanol and ethanol must not be used as oxygenates or additives. BODYWORK: All major parts of the body, including the upper fairings, side panels, fuel tank and rear section, must have a standard appearance and shape (i.e., no one-piece body or tank shell unless originally equipped). Front fenders are required and must be made of plastic, fiberglass or carbon composite. All bodies must match the type of frame used (i.e. You cannot put a GSXR body on a GS frame or a ZX-14 body on a ZX-10). The body can be upgraded to a later or earlier model body or backdated if the same frame is used for those models. The rear part or rear wing shall extend beyond the rear axle. Spare parts are allowed, but must retain the shape of the bearing parts they replace.

The body shape change must be approved by MAN CUP & NHDRO. To provide access to nitro bottles, all nitro bikes must have thumb closures (butterflies) on all parts of the aftermarket body that cover the bottle to allow for the removal of panels or sections by hand without the use of tools. While the “weakest” configuration at 6000 rpm is “only” 717 hp, the more powerful Redeye model benefits from 797 hp at 6300 rpm. At the top of the lineup is comfortably the $85,675 Super Stock, in which the Hemi engine produces 807 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of rotation. The crazy performance equates to an equally sick 3.25-second acceleration from 0 to 60 mph and a quarter-mile time of 10.5 seconds at 131 mph. While this belly acceleration may inspire confidence on the drag track, here are ten cheap bikes that will beat the new Challenger Hellcat in a drag race. I agree with you 100%. Tracks like ours have two classes of sled/bike and road bike I agree that the road bike class should not have electronics. We are lucky to have 20 bikes, but I also think that the lack of price keeps some away.

his 25th to participate, won a trophy. MAXIMUM FORK WEIGHT: Fork components can be made from any material. The weight of the fork includes all the internal and external components of the fork, including fork oil. Weight does not include axles, spacers or axle equipment, brakes, brake brackets or hardware, fenders, wing mounts or equipment, or other components mounted on the outside of the fork. The applicable fork weight is determined by the annual frame model and not by the annual fork model. Maximum weight per side: 1999 and newer models: 9.0 lbs 1998 and older models: 12.50 lb REAR SUSPENSION: On turbo and supercharged motorcycles, the use of active suspension components is prohibited. Active suspension components include electronic, pneumatic or pneumatic shock absorbers, forks, springs, shock absorbers or ride height settings. BRAKES: Operational front and rear brakes are mandatory and must be in safe operating conditions. Brake lines must be OEM type or braided steel pipe or stainless steel line. Braided steel pipe is highly recommended.

Brake lines must be installed and installed professionally to avoid contact with moving parts. Carbon fiber brake pads or discs are prohibited. Braking forces must be generated and controlled exclusively by the driver. The use of an electrical or mechanical device to exert a braking force at any point in the race is prohibited. BIG BORE BIKES: Big Bore bikes in the series are allowed to use a single power adder. FUEL TANKS: Modifications to factory gas tanks are limited to sinking at the back of the tank. Aftermarket fuel tanks are limited to manufacturers and approved MAN CUP & NHDRO part numbers. For a tank to be legal, it must be commercially available at a fair market price for anyone who wants to buy one. The manufacturer or distributor must be able to maintain availability at all times and deliver within 30 days of ordering. The manufacturer or distributor has the right to require full advance payment, including shipping costs, before an order is completed. Companies that wish to manufacture production tanks for this application can submit tank designs for approval. For any other questions or inquiries, please contact the technical department of MAN CUP & NHDRO.

FRONT SUSPENSION BALLAST: No ballast may be mounted on any part of the front suspension, braking system, wing system or rotary assembly. Unless otherwise stated, no part of the front suspension, braking system or fender system may be remanufactured from exotic heavy materials, including tungsten steel, HD-17 or Mallory metal [see EXOTIC HEAVY MATERIALS]. Front suspension components other than fork leg assemblies, front axle assemblies and front wheel assemblies (including triple clamps, clips, fender mounts, calipers and brake hangers, etc.) may be remanufactured from all legal materials, but must be designed to the appropriate dimensions for the application, with the hardware sized appropriately for the application. Whenever possible, OEM components are used as a reference when determining appropriate sizes and dimensions. Lightning holes, gun holes and other weight saving techniques used on OEM components can be erased. Prior approval of custom components or the aftermarket is highly recommended. The technical staff has the final decision on all matters relating to the front suspension component and will closely monitor the use of these components. These are just my ideas on how to develop local motorcycle races AND bracket.
